Everest Gokyo Lake Trek

Proceed with the UNESCO Heritage Sightseeing Tour after breakfast. After visiting Swyambhunath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan city, and Khokana Village, you will be transferred back to your accommodation. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

The morning begins with a magnificent mountain flight to Lukla, the starting point for the climb. The approximately 35-minute mountain flight provides a breathtaking view of the Himalayan Range. From Lukla, the trip begins along stone-paved trails leading to Bhaisekharka, and eventually reaches Phakding. On the route, there are numerous prayer rocks. Stay the night in Phakding.

The walk passes through a pine forest and along the Dudh Koshi River. Along the route, there is a magnificent view of the shimmering Mount Thamserku (6618m). Passing via the settlements of Benkar, Chumoa, and Monjo, the entry to Sagarmatha National Park is reached. The trail then ascends through trees and over bridges to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. Prior to reaching Namche Bazaar, the trail passes past Jorsale Village, where you will catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest. Overnight in Namche.

This will be a day of proper acclimatization and sightseeing in Namche Bazaar, the commercial center of the Everest region, also known as the Sherpa capital. In the heart of Namche, you may visit the mountaineering museum and spend time conversing with the jovial Sherpas. Next, you can visit the headquarters of Sagarmatha National Park and the Tourist Visitor Centre. Beyond the center of this Sherpa capital, you may climb to the Everest View Hotel, the perfect spot for a panoramic view of some of the world's most impressive mountains, including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Lhotse, among others. In addition, you can walk around the Khumjung valley, Hillary School, and the famed Syangboche airfield before returning to Namche. Overnight in Namche.

The journey commences with breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. You can witness exotic animals such as pheasant, musk deer, and Himalayan Thar while wandering in the midst of breathtaking views of the Himalayas. After passing through Kayangjuma and Sansa, the trail reaches Mong La Pass (3,975m). The summit of Mong La Pass affords views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawoche, and Mount Khumbili. The track then initially drops to Dudhkosi Khola (3250m) before climbing back up to Phorse village. Stay the night in Phorse.

This stretch of the trail initially traverses forests, waterfalls, and bridges before arriving in Dole, a small town with few teahouses. The trail then ascends gradually through a picturesque hill above Dole. As you move on, take in the magnificent vistas of Cho Oyu, Kantega, and Thamserku. The trail then passes past numerous summer communities and the quaint town of Luza (4,360m). As you ascend from Luza, the Dudh Koshi valley will come into view. Machhermo is reached by walking down the hillside above the tumultuous Dudkoshi, passing through a number of small settlements and sandy outcrops to get there. Machhermo is the final significant village before reaching Gokyo. Visit the Himalayan Rescue Hospital in Machhermo to hear a talk on Altitude Sickness. Stay the night at Machhero

You begin your walk to Gokyo village by following Dudh Koshi Valley. In the town of Pangka (4480m), there are spectacular views of Cholatse, which you can stop to admire. Next, in the high alpine zone, you reach the Ngozumpa Glacier, which is the largest glacier in Nepal. You continue trekking while enjoying spectacular views of Kantega and Cho Oyu (8153m) on the moraine and rock that descend from Ngozumpa Glacier. On the walk forward, you encounter the first of the trip's hallmark attractions: the Gokyo Lakes. Longponga, Taboche Tsho, and Dudh Pokhari, three magnificent glacier lakes in the Everest region, leave you breathless in sequential order. The location of your overnight stay, Gokyo village, is near Dudh Pokhari, the third lake. Spend a night in Gokyo.

The summit of Gokyo Ri, the highlight of this expedition, offers the most breathtaking vista of 8,000-meter peaks in Nepal, which many adventurers consider to be the best in Nepal. Gokyo Ri's summit is bordered by Cho Oyu (8,153 m), Gyangchung Kang (7,922 m), Lhotse (8,511 m), Makalu (8,475 m), Cholatse (6,440 m), Taweche (6,542 m), Kantega (6,685 m), Thamserku (6,808 m), Lobuche (6,145 m), Mt. Everest (8, You will have pristine views of the Gokyo Lakes and Ngozumpa Glacier while below. Next, above the 4th and 5th Gokyo lakes, you can ascend to Scoundrel's Viewpoint, a prominent vantage point that offers panoramic views of Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makulu. Additionally, the northern portion of the fifth lake offers spectacular views of Cho-Oyu Base Camp. After exploring the beautiful gems of the Everest Region, return to Gokyo Village by descending. Spend a night in Gokyo.

Follow the Dudh Koshi River that rises from the Ngozumpa Glacier on an easy descent. The trek through the second and first Gokyo lakes, along by the towering Cholatse and Taboche hills. As you continue along the winding path, you will reach Phangka, and the path will bring you to a Chorten. Next, you make a slow descent to the expansive settlement of Machhermo while enjoying stunning views of Thamserku, Cho Oyu, and Kangtega. Again, Dole is reached by travelling through the lovely hamlets of Luza and Lhafarma. Spend the night at Dole.

Today's adventure will take you through a wealth of plant and animal life along the trail. The journey begins with a difficult descent to Phortse Tenga before reaching Mong La, where you will be greeted by a magnificent location positioned on the ridge of Mount Khumbila. During the return ride, be sure to take another look at Taboche, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, and Tengboche in the distance. Next, the path heading to Namche will take you through Sanasa, Kyangjuma, and Army Camp Hill. Before entering Namche, the army camp hill provides a final opportunity to look back at Lhotse, the summit of Everest, and Tengboche. Overnight in Namche.

Even if you are hiking the same trail, you feel as though you are traversing whole distinct landscapes. The retreat route runs through rhododendron and pine forests with distant snow-capped summits. In addition, when you traverse the Sherpa settlements, you observe their outstanding Buddhist faith and culture of prayer stones and prayer flags. It will be the final day of the trekking portion of this adventure. Overnight at Lukla.

We take a very scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning. After landing at the Kathmandu airport, we transport you to your accommodation.

The following day will be free. We will transfer you off at the Kathmandu International Airport in the afternoon for your trip home.
